  1. In this video it shows of how technology just keeps evolving so much that by some point, it would evolve so fast we can't keep up with it.

  2. My reaction to this video is wow those are some interesting facts, especially the one about the computers and how they will have a computer in 2013 that is like the human brain and a computer in 2049 that will be able to exceed capabilities of the entire human species.
The purpose of this video is to show americans how much technology have impacted our lives, and how much more is still to come.

  3. I found this video very interesting. I found the fact about how if myspace was a country then it would be the fifth largest country in the world amazing. The purpose of this video was to show how much the internet and electronics effect the world today and how much it has progressed and will progress. It took only 3 years for 50 million people to use the ipod and only 2 years for 50 people to use facebook. In 1984 there were only 1,000 internet devices and only 24 years later in 2008 there were 1,000,000,000.

  4. I thought this video was very interesting. The purpose of the video seems to be to get people to think about the world and where it's headed, maybe even scare you. It doesn't scare me at all. To me all of it's extremely exciting. Who wouldn't want a supercomputer for only $1000. Nothing's wrong with google searches, Google is amazing. All of the technologies are only going to make things easier. Everything is moving much faster and more efficiently and it's awesome.

  5. This video showed how much the world can change in only a few years. Also it focuses on how technology is becoming so popular. I thought it was interesting that if myspace were a country it would be the 5th largest. It seems insane that so many people have a myspace. Although technology is great I don't think people should get too dependent or addicted to it.

  6. I think this video is trying to make Americans realize that we are lacking and falling behind so many other countries. We are being surpassed by countries in education and technology. If we used technology more in a better way than we are know then I firmly believe we can catch up with other countries.

"China will soon become the NUMBER ONE English speaking country in the world."

"The 25% of India's population with the highest IQ's is GREATER than the total population of the United States...translation: India has more honors kids than America HAS kids"

  7. This puts many things into perspective. Our school systems compared to others might just be harder though. We can't just take numbers into account. There are other factors at play, like the recession we're currently overcoming and with technologies we apparently don't know exist, even though we're using them...

Also, more jobs pop up all the time due to new products that need to be created and tested. Such as the super computer that is going to be better at thinking than the human brain that made it.

  8. I like the video and the information was very interesting, especially the part that showed the amount of babies born in China in the amount of time it took us to watch the video. I guess basically the purpose of this video is to catch our attention and to realize how fast technology is growing and the amount of new things coming out each year or so. It's trying to show us how sucked in we get into new technology.

  9. The video shows the current technology that is going on today and the predictions people have for the years to come. My reaction was WOW ! i learned a lot of things i didn't know. like how many people register for Myspace , how many babies were born around the world in just 5 minutes. Also the one i found more interesting was how many people use google. I think the main reason for the video was to open up a new view of todays technology.
